MT. VERNON, IL — The COVID-19 pandemic has sent citizens of this entire world and their daily lives into a whirlwind of changes. Through quarantines, stay-at-home orders and a mountain of closures; most everyone’s life has been affected whether they’ve contracted the virus or not.

Mt. Vernon Mayor John Lewis says when it comes to the city, it’s business as usual as it can be right now.
