Jefferson County Health Administrator Urges Caution, Isolation As COVID-19 Cases Continue Going Up Nationwide

JEFFERSON COUNTY — There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jefferson County as of Monday morning. That’s the good news for county residents, but a health department official says the area isn’t out of the woods.

Jefferson County Health Department Administrator Amy Harrison says residents should be following the orders of government officials.

Harrison says the health department and multiple other local agencies have been in constant contact putting plans into place if positive cases of COVID-19 become confirmed in Jefferson County.
