MT. VERNON — AMC officials have announced that all of their movie theaters are closing in accordance to guidelines being set to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

On their website, the notice says the theaters will reopen when the guidelines allow.

AMC has theaters in Mt. Vernon, Centralia, Marion, and Carbondale.
