Jeffrey “Bo” Dean Bradford

Jeffrey “Bo” Dean Bradford, 58, of Bluford, Illinois, passed away at 9:25 pm March 11, 2020 at his parents residence in Keenes, Illinois. He was born August 7, 1961 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Freddie and Dorothy June (McKinney) Bradford.  In addition to his parents, Bo is survived by his siblings, Lisa Feather and husband, Kenny of Wayne City, Mike Bradford and wife, Melody of Keenes, Michelle Sheeler and husband, Keith of Salem, and Bert Haynes and wife, Judy of Bluford; significant other, Dixie Reed of Bluford; stepchildren, Tracy Price and husband, Brian and Joe Reed, both of Bluford, and Mike Reed of Dix; six step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Bo worked as a mechanic his entire life. He spent 34 years working for Shawnee Express in Herrin. Bo was a man of few words, but many selfless acts. He had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. A Visitation will be held Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at 10:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home with Reverend Don Rector officiating. Interment will follow at Salem-Mateer Cemetery in Wayne County, Illinois.
