MT. VERNON — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

43-year-old Jamie Church of Centralia was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for possession of meth less than five grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

38-year-old Audreye Seals of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for two charges of retail theft, less than $300.

27-year-old Quavarus Jackson of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for retail theft less than $300.

34-year-old Terry Smelcer of Waltonville was arrested Thursday on a bond forfeiture warrant.

19-year-old Alonte Beachem of Harrisburg was arrested Thursday for aggravated battery with the discharge of a firearm.

36-year-old Anthony Garrison of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for domestic battery and possession of meth less than five grams.

22-year-old Rafael Diaz of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for unlawful possession of cannabis as a driver and driving on a suspended license.

20-year-old Cameron Whipple of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Friday for resisting / obstructing a peace officer.
