ILLINOIS (RFD) — Temperatures are running about four-to-eight degrees above normal thus far in February in Illinois.

Freese-Notis Weather meteorologist Dan Hicks says this winter has had only brief periods of cold air and a small number of significant snow events. Most of the state will get a shot of cold air Wednesday night through Friday night, but temps will climb back above normal during the weekend.
