MARION COUNTY — A 56-year-old Salem man was sentenced Thursday in Marion County Court to four-years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a meth-related charge.

Terry Atteberry pleaded guilty to a Class 3 felony charge of possessing less than 5-grams of methamphetamine.

A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery in that case was dismissed per the plea agreement, as were charges in a separate case of Class 4 felony aggravated fleeing and Class 3 felony meth possession.

Atteberry was given credit for 132 days served in the county jail and after completing his prison sentence he will have to serve one year mandatory supervised release.

Atteberry was arrested on the two charges by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies in September.
