MT. VERNON — On Monday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

38-year-old Charles Whipps of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Saturday for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm projectile and possession of drug paraphernalia.

25-year-old Carlos Barnes of Mt. Vernon was arrestd by Mt. Vernon Police Saturday for resisting / obstructing an officer.

26-year-old Bailey Wagoner of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Sunday for DUI and driving on a revoked license.

26-year-old Adrienne Doggan of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Sunday for resisting / obstructing a peace officer.

26-year-old Demetrius Hernandez of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Sunday for aggravated DUI causing an accident resulting in death and driving on a suspended license.

30-year-old Christopher Hardig of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Sunday for home invasion with a dangerous weapon and resisting / obstructing an officer.
