IRVINGTON — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into a reported stabbing earlier this week at an apartment complex in Irvington.

According to sheriff’s personnel, due to multiple juveniles involved in the incident and the ongoing nature of the investigation, they won’t be releasing official reports at this time.

However, other sources indicate that around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a call from the apartment complex on East Howe Street in Irvington and a Washington County ambulance was dispatched to stage while the scene was secured.

Upon entering the secured scene, emergency medical personnel then reported a 16-year-old male had been stabbed twice in the back. He was reportedly breathing at responsive at that time.
