WEST FRANKFORT — West Frankfort School Superintendent Matt Donkin says school will be in session today after the school district received another report Monday about a statement written on a restroom wall at Frankfort Community High School.

Donkin says officials at the high school, the West Frankfort Police Department and its school resource officer continue to investigate while also inspecting the high school

Along with the district’s regular security procedures, Donkin says there will be a heightened law enforcement presence at the high school campus today while the district continues to adjust its security efforts daily.

A message was also found last week written on a restroom wall at the high school. The school district and West Frankfort Police investigated the report, which turned out not to be a specific threat.
