SOUTHERN ILLINOIS — The Crawford County State’s Attorney will be seeking an At-Large seat on the bench in Illinois’ Second Judicial Circuit. Matthew Hartrich has served as State’s Attorney since 2012, and is seeking the seat last held by David Overstreet.

Hartrich is running as a Republican for the at-large seat. He says from his work in civil litigation, as a Public Defender, and as a State’s Attorney, he has the wealth of law background needed to sit as a judge in the Second Circuit.

The Second Judicial Circuit serves Crawford, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jefferson, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, Wayne, and White counties.
