SOUTHERN ILLINOIS — Due to inclement weather expected Thursday, the City of Salem is postponing Trick-or-Treat until Friday when warmer temperatures are anticipated.

The same hours will be observed – from 6 until 8 p.m. – and the costume contest will be held from 5:30 p.m – 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Salem Community Theatre.

Other communities:

• The village of Keyesport is also postponing its Trick-or-Treat from Thursday until Friday from the hours of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., due to anticipated temperatures.
• The city of Ashley has pushed back trick or treat hours from Thursday to Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
• In Sesser, the annual trunk or treat is still on for tonight. Regular trick or treat hours have been pushed back from Thursday to Friday from 6-9 p.m.
