MCLEANSBORO — McLeansboro Police arrested a man early Sunday morning after officers were sent to 800 S. Hancock for a report of a violation of order of protection.

McLeansboro Police Chief Nathan Taylor says around 2:10 a.m., a woman stated that 57-year-old Steven “Tony” Sullivan had been in her apartment, and she had an active order of protection against him.

Officers were not able to immediately locate him. Officers found and spoke to Sullivan around 10:45 Monday night. He was taken into custody for violation of order or protection and taken to the White County Jail.
