WHITE COUNTY — Two people were sentenced to state prison Wednesday in White County Court after their probation sentences were respectively revoked.
White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud says 35-year-old Jeffrey D. Parker of Carmi will spend four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for theft, a Class 3 felony. He will serve one year of mandatory supervised release following his time in prison.
The White County Sheriff’s Department was the original arresting agency.
Twenty-six-year-old Curtis B. Peringer of Mt. Carmel was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for possession of methamphetamine. He will serve one year of mandatory supervised release following his time in prison.
Peringer was recommended to participate in the Impact Incarceration Program also known as “Boot Camp.”
