CENTRALIA — The City of Centralia and Meadow Woods Holding are inviting the public to a ground breaking ceremony for a new restaurant and event center to be built in Centralia.

According to a press release, Castle Ridge, a Lakefront Restaurant, Wedding and Conference Center, will host a groundbreaking ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 16th on the grounds of the old Meadow Woods Country Club at 1750 Tee Lane in Centralia.

Castle Ridge is phase two of the multi-phase Meadow Woods Development.

Greg Sutton, director of Meadow Woods Holding, LLC (the developer of the project) states “we are excited to begin this phase. Castle Ridge will be able to seat up to 1,500 people inside and up to 15,000 people outside, it will have two grand ballrooms and nine breakout rooms for meetings and conferences. The site will have a variety of outdoor ceremony areas to choose from, all with different themes. We have seen a lot of excitement about the restaurant as well, which will feature rooftop seating as part of the dining experience.”

The first phase of the development, which is nearing completion, is the Gaetti Sports Academy, an 18,000 square foot premier sports development facility being built with Centralia native and former Major League Baseball Player, Gary Gaetti.  Those interested in more information may visit www.GSAPlayball.com.
