Nathan Hale

MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $250,000 for a 27-year-old Centralia man arrested on his birthday Wednesday and charged in court with possessing and delivering methamphetamine.

Nathan D. Hale has been charged in Marion County court with Class X felony delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of meth as well as Class 1 felony possession of between 15 and 100 grams of meth.

Wamac police say they were assisting probation Wednesday when they located methamphetamine in Hale’s possession. He was subsequently arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail.

At the time of his Wednesday arrest, Hale was serving on Drug Court for 2017 and 2018 charges of Class 2 felony burglary.

Hale remains held in the Marion County Jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for October 29 for a preliminary hearing and first appearance with his court appointed attorney.
