MT. VERNON — The Mt. Vernon Baptist Temple is hosting their third annual “Superheroes: A Night to Fly” this Saturday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the church in Mt. Vernon. The fun-filled day is for those in the community with special needs.

The city of Mt. Vernon issued a proclamation in support of the event on Friday. The church’s pastor Tim Reynolds says it’s a great day for these families to have fun.

Those who register by October 1st can get a free t-shirt for the event. You can register for “Superheroes: A Night to Fly” at the church’s website here.
