SANDOVAL, IL — Sandoval police continue to investigate a Wednesday morning armed robbery that landed three 18-year-old men in the Marion County Jail.

Cameron Corrie and Gavin Mays, both of Salem, along with James Planitz, of Odin, have all been arrested on charges of armed robbery and possession of a stolen firearm.

They were arrested in connection with the alleged armed robbery of a man who had gone to the 300 block of East Oklahoma in Sandoval to meet with someone to sell an X-box.

Three individuals alleged to be Corrie, Mays, and Planitz then robbed the man of the X-box and $2,000 cash.

The three are expected to be formally charged Thursday in Marion County court.
