BREESE — Breese police are investigating an early morning armed robbery of the MotoMart gas station.

According to a press release, around 12:52 a.m. Monday, the suspect’s vehicle, a dark blue sedan, was reportedly parked at the gas pump when two subjects exited the vehicle – one wearing a clown mask and one wearing a dark hoodie and backpack.

One suspect was armed with a semi-automatic pistol that was displayed to the clerk, while the other suspect went behind the counter and emptied the register into the backpack.

A $2,500 reward is being offered for information resulting in the arrest of the suspects.
