FAYETTE COUNTY — An October jury trial has been confirmed for a 41-year-old Brownstown man accused in Fayette County court of sexually abusing victims between the ages of 13 and 17.

Jason D. McCaslin is charged in two separate cases with one count each of Class 2 felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

He was arrested on the charges in December 2018. According to charging information, McCaslin is accused of having committed acts of sexual penetration with two separate victims who were between the ages 13 and 17.

In court Tuesday both defense and prosecution agreed to an October 21 jury trial being scheduled for both cases, along with an October 15 final pretrial hearing.

If convicted he could face between 3 and 7 years in prison on each Class 2 felony charge.
