BENTON, IL — Southern Illinois Works will hold a conference at the Benton Civic Center on Tuesday, September 24th from 7-11:30am to discuss extreme challenges regional businesses face in the recruitment and retaining of workers.
One of the event sponsors is Rend Lake College. Gabriele Farner, Dean of Applied Science & Advanced Technology at RLC, says the conference is essentially a big think tank of southern Illinois businesses.
Business leaders of both large and small companies as well as agency staff are encouraged to register.
Farner gives a breakdown of how the conference will play out during the day.
