MCLEANSBORO — The McLeanboro Kiwanis Club’s Fall Festival gets underway Thursday and runs through Saturday in McLeansboro.

On Thursday, the rides will open at 6 p.m. The Gospel Night concert featuring The Gospel Messengers and George Portz & Friends of Bluegrass will be at 7 p.m.

On Friday, the rides will open at 6. The concert featuring Grange Hall Band and Dailey and Vincent starts at 7.

There are several events planned for Saturday. The Derby Trial Run and Registration is at 9 a.m. with the Fox Hollow Down Hill Derby starting at 10 a.m.

Registration for the Pet Parade starts at 12:30 p.m. at James Park on the northwest corner of the McLeansboro Square. The Pet Parade starts at 1 p.m. Rides will open at 1 p.m. and close for the Fall Festival Parade at 6 p.m. The concert featuring Jeannie Seely and Tim Atwood, Moore and Moore and Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee starts at 7 p.m.

All events and music are free. Tickets for the rides are available at both banks and at Dairy Queen in McLeansboro.
