JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 37-year-old Mt. Vernon man was sentenced Tuesday in Jefferson County court to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a methamphetamine delivery charge.

Lockwood was initially taken into custody for driving while license revoked. During a subsequent investigation, more than 30 grams of methamphetamine, heroin, cannabis, other controlled substances and drug equipment were seized.

He’s remained in the Jefferson County Jail since his arrest, with bail set at $100,000. He was given credit in courtTuesday for 231 days served in the county jail.
