MT. VERNON — The Mt. Vernon Police Department/Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department High Risk Team executed an early morning search warrant Wednesday at a Mt. Vernon residence and arrested three individuals on drug-related charges.
According to the MVPD around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, members of the High Risk Team executed a Jefferson County search warrant at 4152 Willow Springs. The search warrant was issued as a result of ongoing narcotics investigations in Mt Vernon.
After the residence was secured, members of the joint Narcotics Unit conducted a search of the residence and reportedly located methamphetamine and drug equipment.
As a result of the discovery, 39-year-old Terry M. Turner was arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine as was 20-year-old Toni L. Latchford. Tacarra A. Young, 34, was arrested for alleged possession of meth with the intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.

All three were transported to the Jefferson County Jail where they await the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
