On Thursday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

19-year-old Cortez Johnson of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for aggravated arson injuring fire / police / DOC.

24-year-old Dylan Edmison of Opdyke was arrested Wednesday for armed habitual criminal, and forgery.

25-year-old Camron Peterson of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for aggravated domestic battery.

58-year-old David Kinison of Mt. Vernon was arrested Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant.
