CARMI, IL — Three southern Illinois residents were sentenced recently in White County Court to the Illinois Department of Corrections on various crimes.
According to White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud, 51-year-old Bryan P. Hensley of Grayville was sentenced to three years in prison with two years of mandatory supervised release for possession of meth with the intent to deliver, a Class 2 felony. Hensley was sentenced on July 8. His case was investigated by the Grayville Police Department.
Forty-three-year-old Rodney Harrington of Carbondale was sentenced to three years in prison with one year of mandatory supervised release for driving while license revoked (4-9), a Class 4 felony. He was also sentenced to one year in prison with one year of supervised release for possession of cannabis between 100 and 500 grams, a Class 4 felony.
Harrington was sentenced Monday. His case was investigated by the Illinois State Police.
And 22-year-old Cale Cheek of Enfield was sentenced to two years in prison with one year of mandatory supervised release for possession of methamphetamine.
Aud says Cheek had previously been placed on probation; however, his probation was revoked Wednesday morning with a new sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections His case was investigated by the White County Sheriff’s Department.
