SALEM — Salem Township is alerting motorists that Scout Road will be closed to thru traffic starting Friday morning until about 3 p.m. Friday afternoon from Selmaville Road to the boat dock.

The closure is necessary for the reconstruction and oiling of the road.

Motorists should plan accordingly.
