BENTON — This is the Benton Police Report that was released on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

On July 19, 2019 at approximately 8:15 p.m., Benton Police arrested Paul L. Barnfield, age 43, of Benton on an active Perry County warrant for failure to appear. Barnfield was transported to the Franklin County warrant for further processing.

On July 21, 2019 at approximately 11:10 a.m., Benton Police were dispatched to the 800 block of East Webster Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle.  Upon investigating, police arrested Leslee N. Miller, age 33, of Benton for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Miller was charged and transported to the Franklin County Jail for further processing.

On July 22, 2019 at approximately 10:40 p.m., Benton Police arrested Richard E. Larson, age 59, of Benton on an active Franklin County warrant for failure to appear. Larson was transported to the Franklin County Jail for further processing.

On July 24, 2019 at approximately 2:20 a.m., Benton Police were dispatched to Lake Cove Resort located at 13277 Freeway Lane in reference to a theft. Upon investigating, police arrested Christopher L. Clark, age 36, of Eddyville, KY for theft. Clark was charged and transported to the Franklin County Jail for further processing.

On July 24, 2019 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Benton Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Pope street in reference to a fight in progress. Upon investigating, police arrested Robert B. Lee, age 21, of Benton for battery. Lee was charged and transported to the Franklin County Jail for further processing.
