CENTRALIA — A 36-year-old Centralia woman charged in connection with the May shooting death of 13-year-old Jaden Lee Krauss at her home has been arrested for allegedly threatening a witness in the case.

According to Centralia Police, Nicole Marie Kirgan was arrested Friday on a Class 2 felony charge of witness intimidation.

Dodson says police had received information about the alleged threats so they applied for a warrant and placed a recording device on the witness.

They were then able to secure a recording of Kirgan allegedly threatening the witness and telling the witness to lie in court.

This arrest came a week after her other arrest on obstruction charges for allegedly destroying evidence in the case as well as in two burglary cases last year.

Bail from the first arrest was set at $50,000 and she was free on $5,000 bond at the time of her latest arrest Friday.

She will remain in the Marion County Jail at least until Monday when she’ll appear before a judge for the setting of bail.

Her 13-year-old and 15-year-old sons remain in juvenile detention, both also accused of obstruction of justice in the Krauss shooting death case.
