JEFFERSON COUNTY — Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men early Monday morning when they responded to a trespassing complaint from the 19000 block of North Copple Lane in Walnut Hill.

During the initial investigation contact was made with 51-year-old of David W. Lamar and 31-year-old Jared K. Arnold, both of Woodlawn, were found leaving the area.

Further investigation led deputies and Sheriff’s Office Detectives to Lamar’s residence at 210 N. Main Street in Woodlawn, where stolen firearms and other property were recovered.

Both Lamar and Arnold were arrested and taken to the Jefferson County Jail on felony burglary, theft, and possession of stolen firearm charges, with their bail to be set by a judge.
