WHITE COUNTY — The White County Sheriff’s Office says based on a drug investigation, a Crossville couple was arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was executed by Crossville Police at a home on Potter Street around 4:50 Wednesday afternoon.

During the search, 1.75 grams of methamphetamine and 20.65 grams of cannabis were confiscated. Several items of drug paraphernalia were also found.

Police arrested 34-year-old Angela M. Coston and 38-year-old Trevor Scott Tate at their home located at 201 Potter Street and charged them both with possession of meth, possession of cannabis between 10 and 30 grams, unlawful use of property and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were taken to the White County Jail.

Crossville Police were assisted by the Illinois State Police and the White County Sheriff’s Office.
