MARION COUNTY — A 28-year-old Centralia man pleaded guilty Tuesday in Marion County court to felony drug and burglary charges stemming from separate incidents.

Scott Kerns pleaded guilty to the Christmas Eve burglary of a residence and other buildings on Foxville Road north of Kell Road.

Kerns pleaded guilty Tuesday to both the Class 1 felony residential burglary and Class 2 felony burglary charges in that case.

He also pleaded guilty to a charge of Class 3 felony possession of methamphetamine stemming from a June arrest at the Day’s Inn in Salem.

Kerns remains in the Marion County Jail where he’s been held with bail set at $250,000 since his December arrest. A pre-sentencing report has been ordered and a sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 11.
