CENTRALIA — The City of Centralia would like to remind all Residents and Mowing Contractors that citations can and will be issued for those that blow grass clippings onto the City Streets.

When the clippings are blown into the streets it gets into the storm sewer system and clogs up drains.

Thank you for your consideration of this and for properly taking care of your clippings.

Options of proper disposal include:

Bagged leaf and limb collection is available and the schedule map for that can be found on the City’s website at cityofcentralia.org under Departments/City Clerk/utilities/Bagged Leaf & Limb Collection Map.

The other option is the City’s Burn Weekends:

• 1st and 3rd weekends of May, June, July and August.

• Every weekend in September, October (except the weekend of the Halloween Parade) and November

• 1st & 3rd weekend of December.
