MT. VERNON — Mt. Vernon Township High School will be bringing back construction trade classes. MVTHS Principal Rowdy Fatheree says that there is plenty of student interest and the school will bring back the full program over the next four years.
Fatheree says he and MVTHS Superintendent Jeff Fritchtnitch both come from schools with strong construction trades programs, and their goals for the MVTHS program are high.
Fatheree says the school recognized the need for construction labor in the community, and is happy there are students wanting to learn to tricks of the trade. He says a construction trades teacher will be hired soon.
