In addition to her 10-year prison sentence, Adriane Parke was ordered to pay more than $6,500 in restitution.

According to court records Parke worked as a housekeeper at the Drury Inn during the time of the fire. Close to 60 guests and employees had to evacuate during the fire, but Parke was the only injury reported as she apparently suffered from smoke inhalation.

A Jefferson County jury found Adriane Parke guilty in October of Class X felony aggravated arson. Two other related charges against Parke were dismissed prior to the trial. A Class X felony is punishable by between 6 and 30 years in prison.

Parke has remained in custody of the Jefferson County Jail since the jury found her guilty. She will now be transferred to the Department of Corrections.
