SANDOVAL — Sandoval police arrested a 48-year-old Junction City man over the weekend on charges from Centralia for alleged battery, criminal damage to property, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of methamphetamine.
Ricky Taylor is in the Marion County Jail after Centralia police stopped his vehicle Friday at the Huck’s Convenience Store in Centralia. Taylor reportedly jumped on a motorcycle parked at another gas pump and fled the scene, only to return later and park the motorcycle in the alley behind Huck’s.
Centralia police report the father of the motorcycle’s owner confronted Taylor who allegedly knocked the man’s glasses off and then kicked the fuel tank of the father’s motorcycle.
Taylor again left the scene only to be stopped later by Sandoval police, who reportedly found a drug pipe in his possession that tested positive for meth.
