WHITE COUNTY — IDOT says Illinois 1 in Carmi will be closed at the Evansville Western Railroad crossing for three days starting Wednesday, Aug. 22

Railroad crews will be removing and replacing the rail and roadway panels at the crossing, which will be closed until Friday, Aug. 24

No traffic will be allowed through the work area during repairs. You should follow the marked detour or seek other routes to avoid delays.
