BENTON — A Benton man is facing a drug charge following a traffic stop by Benton Police at the intersection of North McLeansboro and East Main Street late Wednesday night.

During the stop, Benton Police K-9 Ranger alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics in the vehicle.

Upon investigating further, police arrested 25-year-old Bryce J. Sneddon for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was charged and taken to the Franklin County Jail.
