MCLEANSBORO — The McLeansboro City Council got a report concerning the city’s new water tower and sanitary water sewer project at Tuesday night’s meeting.
According to a post on the city’s Facebook page, representatives from Shawnee Engineering stated that all papers for the primary studies on the water tower and sanitary water system had been submitted and they are awaiting notifications from the USDA.
The council also learned at the meeting that JD Murphy had been hired by Hamilton County Unit 10 Schools as the new School Resource Officer and that although the school would fully fund the position, the school district is looking for partnerships with the county and city.
