WHITE COUNTY — Two people were involved in a single-vehicle injury crash around 3:20 Monday afternoon in White County.

Illinois State Police say 37-year-old John Hansbrough of Morganfield, Kentucky, was driving his 1988 Peterbilt truck and was pulling a flatbed trailer south on U.S. 45, a half-mile north of Gossett Road in Norris City, when for unknown reasons the truck crossed the center line and went off the eastside of the roadway crashing into some trees.

Hansbrough and his passenger, 37-year-old Stephanie Nation of Shawneetown, were airlifted to a local area hospital. Their injuries were not reported by Illinois State Police. Charges are pending.
