The City of Mt. Vernon Public Works Department will begin installing new asphalt on S. 28th St. from Veterans Memorial Drive to Jones St., Tuesday and Wednesday (August 7th & 8th).
This section of road will be closed to all traffic from 7am-7pm, weather permitting. There will also be no street parking allowed during the work hours.
The Public Works Department says to park your vehicles on adjacent side streets as there will be no access to driveways during this time.
