HAMILTON COUNTY — A West Virginia woman recently pled guilty in Hamilton County Court on a meth charge and was sentenced.
According to Hamilton County State’s Attorney Justin Hood, 34-year-old Tonya Workman pled guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony. She will serve three years in state prison and serve one year of mandatory supervised release when she is released from prison.
Hood says the case will run concurrent with another unlawful possession of methamphetamine, Class 3 felony probation violation. She will serve 3 years in state prison and one year of supervised mandatory release. She had less than 5 grams of meth in her possession in her vehicle on both arrests.
Meanwhile, William Workman, of West Virginia, pled guilty on July 30 to unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony. He was sentenced to three years in state prison with one year of mandatory supervised release.
Hood says Workman was also located in the vehicle with Tonya Workman when meth was located.
