MARION — Planning and registration is underway for this year’s Veterans on Parade in Marion.
This will be the 14th year for the event that honors first responders and veterans from southern Illinois, southeast Missouri and northwest Kentucky according to Ed Davis, president and co-founder of the Veterans on Parade organization.
Davis says the parade will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m., and there will be two assembly points.
