MT. VERNON — Mt. Vernon Police need the public’s help to find a missing Mt. Vernon woman last seen in the Summersville Area. 81-year-old Eva Russell was reportedly last seen early Sunday morning.

Russell is a white female approximately 5-feet tall and weighing 130 pounds with short, gray hair. Russell was last seen wearing tennis shoes, blue jeans, and a white and lavender shirt. If you see Russell, please contact the Mt. Vernon Police Department by calling 911 or (618)242-2131.

At this time, members of the Mt. Vernon Police Department, Mt. Vernon Fire Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Litton’s Ambulance, and Air Evac are searching the area.
