A two-vehicle crash in Centralia Tuesday afternoon sent the driver of one vehicle to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

According to reports, 56-year-old Patricia Badger, of Centralia, was northbound on South Elm when she apparently failed to stop for a red light at Second Street. As she entered the intersection she collided with a westbound vehicle being driven by 31-year-old Robert Franklin, of Centralia.

Badger was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries. She was cited for disobeying the traffic control device. Franklin was uninjured.
