Jefferson County Sheriff’s authorities are looking for the driver of a pickup who fled the scene of a crash early Friday morning with a tractor.

According to reports, around 3:22 a.m. Friday morning, on Dix-Irvington Road near Springer Church Road, the driver of a pickup ran into the rear of a tractor pulling a 28-foot disc.

The pickup driver reportedly fled the scene on foot and has not yet been found. Authorities are concerned he may be injured.

The driver of the tractor refused hospital treatment. Names have not yet been released.
