The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and Williamson County Coroner’s Office are investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash that happened around 4 Sunday afternoon on Dykersburg Road just south of Roten Lane.

Williamson County Coroner Mike “Junior” Burke says 25-year-old Peter Schneider Jr. of Galatia was killed in the crash. He was not wearing a helmet.

Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick wants residents to remember that all-terrain vehicles aren’t designed for use on the roadway, and that care must be used if they must be driven on pavement.
