The 2018 Mt. Vernon Market Days season will kick off on this Saturday May 5th from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Veteran’s Park. Market Days occur on the first Saturday of each month between May and September. This season’s dates are May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th, August 4th, and September 1st.

Market Days are Mt. Vernon’s very own outdoor flea market and vendor fair. A variety of vendors are already signed up this season including blacksmith items, jewelry, books, sports collectibles, kettle corn, rose bushes, toys, home décor, furniture, pet products, antiques, purses, baked goods, cotton candy, and more. Vendors will be located outdoors in the grassy area on the north side of the Rolland Lewis Building. Admission is free. Children can enjoy several inflatable jump housese on May 5th provided by Central Christian Church.

Comprehensive Connections will also be holding their Annual Day of Celebration at Veteran’s Park on May 5th with a morning 5K, bingo, family activities, and a hot dog, chips, and drink for $1.
