A Carterville man was arrested Friday by Carterville Police on an outstanding warrant for aggravated criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, unlawful restraint and domestic battery.

Police say the charges against 25-year-old Billy J. Jeralds stem from a reported incident in Carterville involving a 15-year-old girl.

Jeralds was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Williamson County Jail.
