Carbondale Police says one of the suspects involved in a shooting late Thursday night has died.

Police say 35-year-old Brandon L. Brooks of Carbondale did not survive the injuries he received as a result of the incident.  The name of the second victim is not being released at this time.

Police responded to the rear parking lot at 409 E. Mill St. just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday in reference to reports of gunshots. When they arrived, they found Brooks and the other victim with gunshot wounds.  Police say the incident appears to be a dispute between acquaintances. No other information is available at this time.
